七夕祭り[ta-na-ba-ta ma-tsu-ri] - Part 2
Scenes from the Hiratsuka City (Kanagawa, Japan) Tanabata Festival, continue.... As shown yesterday, one shopping street was transformed into a large parade route decorated with large, hanging lanterns. I wanted to give readers a sense of the atmosphere at this event, so I shot a video. Enjoy! After finishing up at the festival, Samurai and I headed back to the station, but not before jumping in a line to buy fresh Japanese sweet cakes, called man-jyu! While waiting, I could enjoy watching the automatic machine, which creates these delicious delectables....
